The legend that is Richard Avedon!

I've looked at Richard Avedon's work before and thought it was amazing. Not only are the prints beautifully printed with that that plain white background which really makes the subject stand out and isolates them, the subjects themselves  are interesting. A lot of them have  features or expressions which really give you a feel for who they are, and makes me think about there lives. I looked at both 'In the American West' book and his "Portrait" book which consists of a number of portraits from a different series. I found "In The American West" more interesting.
